Shoshana Torn is an architectural designer and visual artist invested in a multi-disciplinary approach to making, thinking, and doing.
She received a Master of Architecture from Princeton University School of Architecture in 2023. Her M.Arch thesis, Exodus, positions both design and the profession as active agents in the shifting landscape of a post-Roe U.S. and was awarded the Suzanne Kolarik Underwood Prize for excellence in architectural design.
With a dedication to learning and teaching as practice, she has co-taught and assisted graduate core, introduction to architectural design, and design thinking courses at Princeton.
Shoshana was a co-organizer of the Womxn in Design and Architecture conferences on Minnette De Silva (2021), June Jordan (2022), and Svetlana Kana Radević (2023) at Princeton University SoA.
Before reaching architecture, Shoshana worked as an independent graphic designer and holds a B.A. in art history with honors from New York University.
